Nightforce is a brand that is known for its high quality optics and holds several world records to its credit. Similar standards are also noticed in the Competition rifle scopes. The magnification range of the Nightforce Competition is sure to impress. It is better almost 13 times than its previous models. for long range shooters, this model from Nightforce is also ideal as it provides proper clarity. This is one of the most significant features that shooters look for in a rifle scope. For long range shooters, clarity and resolution are of utmost importance. Both these are required when the shooters are aiming at moving targets. These models were reintroduced as Nightforce Competition 2014 with modifications.
Nightforce Competition 15-55x52mm DDR Riflescope is not only 20%+ lighter than both benchrest models it is shorter. This scope was designed to give competition shooters the best advantage possible with an unprecedented tool for the job. With Light transmission being close to the maximum level ever achieved, at 92% the colour contrast and high resolution image is awe inspiring even at the farthest of ranges.
Unlike the benchrest model the competition has a side parallax that ranges from 25 to infinity. Windage and elevation turrets adjust in increments of .125 MOA, each with a total of 60MOA of travel. 5MOA per each full rotation. This is a must for any serious long distance competition shooter that wants to start notching some world records in their belt.

This Nightforce Competition review is completely my opinion. This is how I see Nightforce Competition 15-55x52mm scopes. But when you are purchasing a rifle scope, there are several factors that you should keep in mind. You might not be fond of Nightforce Optics the way I am. So the first thing that you got to look out for is the image quality. Then make sure that the optics provide adequate light to the eyepiece. Also ensure that the lenses are multi coated. If you are a long range shooter, adjustment capability will also matter for you.
